The “Secrets of Facilitation” project focuses on addressing the growing demand for trained facilitators who can lead high-quality youth exchanges within the Erasmus+ programme. There is a critical need for new youth workers to acquire the essential skills to facilitate these exchanges effectively, as many of them currently resort to memorization and imitation of activities without fully understanding their optimal use.
The General Objectives:
- Raise the facilitation competencies of youth workers and group leaders within participating organizations.
- Provide youth workers with the necessary competencies to effectively lead and facilitate youth exchanges within the Erasmus+ Youth programme.
- Provide youth workers with a set of resources and materials to facilitate various activities within Erasmus+ youth exchanges.
- Improve cooperation and promote the exchange of experiences and best practices among participants.
Main Outcomes:
- Participants will acquire advanced facilitation competencies, enabling them to lead youth exchanges more effectively.
- An overall improvement in the quality of youth exchanges within the Erasmus+ programme is expected, transforming them into more enriching and formative experiences for young people.
- Establishment of a network of trained youth workers who will share best practices and collaborate on future projects.
- Development and distribution of a facilitation toolkit that participants can use in their future leadership roles.
