REST7

The Rest7 Project targets young people struggling with burnout, stress, and anxiety. It aims to provide them with the tools and knowledge to develop healthy well-being habits based on “7 types of rest.” This project also seeks to educate stakeholders who work with young adults on how to help them prevent and manage these issues. Ultimately, the project strives to empower young people to reach their full potential and contribute positively to society.

The general objectives are:

  • To promote the concept and methodology of Rest7 and its benefits among young people, youth trainers, and stakeholders in youth organizations.
  • To boost active citizenship, young people’s sense of initiative, and youth entrepreneurship, including social entrepreneurship.

The main results of the project are:

  • Development of key competencies in young people to achieve a full understanding of the 7 types of rest.
  • Increased awareness of the benefits of Rest7 among young people, youth trainers, and stakeholders.
  • Creation of freely available digital tools and resources to promote Rest7, including:
    • An online self-assessment tool for young people to evaluate their rest habits.
    • A handbook for organizations to promote Rest7.
    • A toolbox and training system to help deliver Rest7 content to young people.
    • Video clips featuring experts speaking about each type of rest.
