Sustainability is present in many aspects of our everyday life. The E-ART project is about empowering artists to be more sustainable in their practices and tackles the need for a cultural shift towards environmental sustainability. It recognizes the power of art to communicate complex issues and inspire action. The project aims to teach artists green skills, encourage the use of sustainable materials, and raise awareness about environmental protection.
The general objectives are:
- To empower artist in order to acquire green skills and be more sustainable and to help them to reduce their environmental impact.
- To encourage the use of sustainable materials in art.
- To raise public awareness about environmental protection.
- To create new job opportunities for artists.
The main results of the project are:
- Develop a green curriculum. To create a training program with innovative techniques.
- Increased awareness about sustainability and climate change among professionals.
- Transformation of professionals into advocates of sustainable practices and materials.
- Educate VET professionals to adjust and promote the project deliverables to the adult, school and youth educational sector.
- Behavioral changes and community engagement in implementation of the project.
